Event Description:
The Pumpkinvine Bike Ride will offer ride routes ranging from 25 to 100 miles. These routes will use sections of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail but a large portion of the distances will necessarily be on county roads.
The ride routes pass through Amish communities and will provide a memorable experience for bicyclists who want a light workout with minimal exposure to automobile traffic.
Our ride routes will also satisfy bicyclists who want a vigorous workout on low-traffic county roads in Elkhart and LaGrange Counties.
All of the routes are also interesting to bicyclists who want to experience horses with buggies, farm animals in fields, flower gardens, country schools and small towns.
This website will be updated with detailed information about the 2014 Pumpkinvine Bike Ride in January 2014.
Proceeds from the Pumpkinvine Bike Ride support maintenance of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.
