Please don't miss this opportunity for FREE preschool for your child. Serving the entire Middlebury School Corporation district, the Head Start program at York Elementary gives a limited number of children the opportunity to better prepare for the future kindergarten experience.
Head Start is an income-based federally-funded preschool program providing students with:
--Preschool activities
--Tooth brushing
--Free bus service on a Head Start-only bus
--2 meals per day
--Classes meeting Monday - Thursday for 3-1/2 hours per day
Eligible children must be 3 years old by August 1, 2012.
To schedule an introductory appointment, call Rose Cox at 822-5306 at York Elementary School.
For the introductory interview, bring:
**proof of income for 12 months,
**child's birth certificate,
**immunization records,
**names and phone numbers of the doctor and dentist serving your child,
**any pertinent Medicaid or insurance information and
**3 emergency contacts' information
