Friends of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail Bike Ride
The Pumpkinvine Bike Ride will have two starting locations again in 2012, Goshen and Shipshewana, Indiana. If you chose to start in Shipshewana you can ride on county roads for a half-mile and then ride on six miles of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail newly built in 2011 between Middlebury and Shipshewana. The Shipshewana starting location will also offer five routes with distances of 21 to 100 miles mostly on county roads.
The rides starting in Goshen will be on 5.2 miles of developed Pumpkinvine Nature Trail and then on marked country roads to provide five routes ranging from 10 to 100 miles.

The ride routes pass through Amish communities and will provide a memorable experience for bicyclists who want a light workout with minimal exposure to automobile traffic.
Our ride routes will also satisfy bicyclists who want vigorous workout on low-traffic county roads in Elkhart and LaGrange Counties.
All of the routes are also interesting to bicyclists who want to experience horses with buggies, farm animals in fields, flower gardens, country schools and small towns.
This website will be updated with detailed information about the 2012 ride in January 2012.
Ride proceeds benefit development of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.
