Event Description:
Das Dutchman Essenhaus announces the Quilt & Fiber Show which celebrates quilts and those who create them. The 2-day event will be held August 23th and August 24th beginning at 10:00 am each day through 6:00 pm Friday and 4:00 pm on Saturday.
The event will be held at the Essenhaus Inn & Conference Center on the main campus where the restaurant and Essenhaus Village Shops are located within easy walking distance. The public is invited to attend and admission will be $3.00 per person each day.
On Friday evening this year is the added opportunity for join us for dinner with a special presentation by Donna Kooistra who will share her tale of "Quilts of Old & New." The dinner begins at 6:30 pm and is $25.00 per person.
Whether you have interest in vending at this event or displaying a custom-made masterpiece, we would be honored to have you participate! Vendor and displayer application must be turned in by July 29, 2013 along with application fees. The Essenhaus Quilt Show runs during the annual Quilt Gardens and Murals along the Heritage Trail event, a community-wide self-guided tour initiated by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau that unites quilters and gardeners alike.
