Event Description:
Delightful, funny and light-hearted full-length drama. The year is 1942 in Eufala, Springs Texas. Four garden-club ladies have met a young girl who has come to their little Texas town to marry an infantryman before he is shipped off for World War II. Lives and friendships are thrown into turmoil as the women impulsively decide to throw the girl an elaborate wedding in one frenzied afternoon. Written by Ronnie Claire Edwards and Alan Bailey…co-author one of the country’s most frequently produced musicals, “Smoke on the Mountain”.
