Donna Kooistra, AQS certified and textile appraiser, will provide an evening of entertainment at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury, IN. Donna will highlight how quilts have evolved and changed throughout the course of history as she unravels the traditions and designs of “Quilts through the Times”. Ms. Kooistra has a vast amount of experience with creating, judging and appraising quilts and will engage quilters of all ages during her visit. Donna Kooistra, has been participating as an appraiser for several years at the Essenhaus Quilt Show and she resides in the northern Indiana area. Friday, September 9, 2011, Ms. Kooistra will be featured during “Dinner with Donna” at Das Dutchman Essenhaus beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets for “Dinner with Donna” are available now by calling 574-822-1965 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Admission is $25.00 per person and includes the evening of live entertainment and storytelling by Ms. Kooistra and a dinner buffet.
