Admission is FREE to this annual, unique event, so
plan to come spend an hour or the whole day.
With a wide variety of vendors, interactive
demonstrations, food samples and cooking
seminars, there is fun for everyone
This unique event is sponsored by the Essenhaus
Village Shops and will be held in the restaurant building
on the second floor from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm.
No admission is charged and no reservations are
required for this “open house” formatted event. Guests
are encouraged to spend as much time as they choose
and will receive cooking tips, demonstrations, food
samples, recipes and door prizes throughout the day.
The cooking show will also feature opportunities to
interact with local vendors, kitchen gadgets, door
prizes, fun products for sale and coupons for the
Essenhaus Village Shops and Essenhaus Foods.
Sherry Gore, editor of the Pinecraft Pauper, Florida’s
first Amish newspaper, is returning as one of the featured
guests for the day. Sherry is a resident of Sarasota,
Florida, and will be on-site to conduct a book signing and
discuss her life’s experiences. Ms. Gore will also be
featured during a cooking seminar.
