You're helping (1) lower the town's trash handling contract [shipping less trash], (2) you're helping extend the life cycle of the county landfill by not sending all your trash week after week, (3) you're helping by recycling the finite materials we have PLUS (4) you're helping the young people around you--watching what you do and learning what's really important by what you do--you help them develop a lifelong habit of recycling.
